Marangoni Pneumatici SpA is the Marangoni Group company specialising in the retreading sector, where it is the unrivalled leader on the Italian market and co-leader in Europe, so much so that its name is often identified with the retreaded tyre itself.

Marangoni Pneumatici retreads tyres for motor cars, 4x4s, light transport vehicles, trucks and earthmoving machinery, and also collects and recycles tyres at the end of their life, generating electricity.

This company’s real core businnes revolves around the highly specialized industrial vehicle tyre. The Tyres for industrial and earthmoving vehicles are manufactured in one of the biggest retreading factories in the world, covering around 100,000 sq.m., located in Rovereto, in the province of Trento and in the heart of central Europe, not far from the manufacturing facilities in Feltre (BL), where Marix tyres are made.

Fifty years of experience at the highest levels in the business mean that today Marangoni Pneumatici can ensure the strictest quality controls on the entire production process.

The casings to be retreaded are in fact selected using the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art equipment, including shearography, a procedure capable of analysing the infrastructure of the casing and identifying any damage that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye and undetectable by traditional methods.

These controls have allowed Marangoni retreads to be awarded a series of important recognitions, including certification by TÜV Hannover KTI, UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification of the company quality system and the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 environmental certification.

Approval according to the new ECE/ONU 108R and 109R regulations has also been achieved: the final result of the strict tests that all Marangoni products undergo, as well as and above all an important guarantee for all users.

In order to achieve these regulations the tyres need to be retread in line wth special specification and pass the same quality test set for new tyres.
